He has been serving as the Principal of Guru Nanak Institute of Higher Education, Murthal, Haryana, since July 11, 2022. Prior to this, he was a Professor at SGTB Khalsa College, University of Delhi (2018-2022), where he also served as Associate Professor (1998-2018) and Senior Lecturer (1991-1998). Dr. Jassal began his career as a Lecturer at Guru Kashi College, Talwandi Sabo, Punjab, in 1980 and later joined SGTB Khalsa College in 1986. His contributions to higher education, research, and leadership are highly valued.
